Q1: This product is 3/4 inches in size. Can it be used in conjunction with my existing water pipes and other equipment?
A: This quick connector uses standard 3/4-inch (approximately 1.9 centimeters) threads, which means it is compatible with the vast majority of standard garden hoses, faucets (water nozzles), sprinklers, sprayers and various watering devices available on the market. If the interface of your equipment is also of the standard 3/4-inch diameter, then it should generally be compatible. However, it cannot be used for drinking water.
Q2: How is this quick connector installed?
Q2: How is this quick connector installed?
1. Threaded connection: Use your hands to screw the male end of the kit onto your faucet, then screw the other male end onto one end of your water pipe, and finally screw the female end onto your water gun or any other watering tool.
2. Wrapping the sealing tape (tips for preventing leakage): To ensure an absolutely airtight connection with no water leakage, before all the threaded connections, wrap 3 to 5 turns of polytetrafluoroethylene sealing tape (also known as the sealing tape) first, and then tighten.
3. Quick Connection: Insert the male connector into the female connector, and you will hear a "click" sound. The connection will be locked at this point, and water can now flow through.
Q3: How should one properly disconnect the quick connector?
Q3: How should one properly disconnect the quick connector?
1. Turn off the water supply.
2. Release stress: Turn on the spray gun switch on the water pipe, drain all the remaining water inside the pipe. Then turn off the spray gun. This way, you can safely and easily disconnect the connection.
